Water valve location maps
In the early 1970's, when Easthill Apartments and Kenthill Townhomes were constructed an 8 in. water pipe provided all the water to both properties. As time passed, this 8 in. water pipe was abandoned. It was replaced by a 6 in. water pipe which begins at the south west corner of the property plat and wraps around the entire complex giving water to both Easthill apartment buildings and Kenthill Townhomes buildings. From this 6 in. water pipe, a 2 in. water pipe provides water to each of our 15 Kenthill Townhomes buildings. At the point where the water pipe meets the building, there is a water valve, located approximately 2 ft. below the surface of the ground. In 1998, maps were made designating the location of each one of these valves. These maps are posted inside the shed located on the end of each one of our 15 buildings. Water valve keys are used to turn the water on and off.
