High winds scour Western Washington foothills

Trees toppling onto power lines forced the temporary closure of highway 164 Saturday night at about 368th Street and caused a brush fire in Kent. Another tree fell into a house in Kent Sunday morning and several came down on Kent_Kangley Road. There were also scattered power outages throughout the region and although there were no reports of injuries, the winds were a surprise to many.
